Last night I sat by a fire with the family. I was starring at it pretty intensely watching the wood crackle and the wind carry sparks. But to be honest, I really liked putting fire starter logs in the fire and watching it totally ignite the wood. I’m a 41yr old kid. You are supposed to just put one in, but I may have put half dozen…or more!

This got me thinking about intensity. Those logs would ignite and bring a ferrous flame, but then after a few glorious minutes it was gone.

What ignites your passion? What causes you to get so excited that you cannot contain it? And, unfortunately what causes it to disappear? What steps do you need to take to keep the fire burning?
