Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.”

I love this. I do not love hard times when it seems like things are falling apart. But I do love knowing the fact that God is there. Not only is He just there, He is doing something!

We need to remember the hard times will pass soon, and the good times are coming back around. While we anxiously and prayerfully wait for the good times, keep focused on who God is and what He is doing! That’s tough to do in the middle of the storm. Remember all this is like “small potatoes” when it’s compared to eternity.
