I have never been more proud. I thought I was proud when they each took their first steps. I was proud when they said “DaDa” and “Arrgh”. But this, this was next level. Watching each of my kids present the Gospel in their own way was amazing!
Levi straight up started a conversation on witnessing. He did a Q&A session as well. Josiah taught us how to use GarageBand to create beats and used his as an example for his future Christian rap album. He then preformed a rap! Grace got in the mix by raising her hands while we clapped for her. She had so much with us cheering her on.
I have so much to learn at being a dad. My primary goal is for them to know Jesus and to know love. They’ve grown up hearing me preach to teens all their life and we have had so many conversations about speaking life privately. My goal is that they know Jesus from a hospital room the same way they know Him playing outside at a family retreat like we had this weekend.
Be intentional with your kids. There has been and will always be bumps in the road, but set a foundation that no matter what path they choose…the foundation is there.
