Proverbs 31. Yes Sir!

A good woman is hard to find, and worth far more than diamonds. Proverbs 31:10.

Her name is Annie. I am in awe of this woman. She is my Queen and I am more of her jester than King! I remember listening to the dcTalk song “Kinda Girl” in middle school and asking God to bring her my way. To be honest I still listen to that song on repeat and just sit and be grateful. Now I play it for my boys! I’m like Josiah, you better start praying now son.

Life has thrown a lot of curveballs at us with our children’s health and career craziness, but she has always been a rock for us. There’s something about holding her hand and walking through things together that makes it so much easier. Her ministry reaches well beyond our house and past her classroom. It overflows into San Antonio through outreaches, theater presentations, elementary production workshops, hosting youth parties, and so much more. You help me to believe in myself, our kids know they can do it, and countless teens have turned their lives around because of your counsel. Seriously you stay busy helping everyone!

Annie thank you for all that you do. I can’t imagine raising our kids, doing ministry, or having a cup of coffee without you. You are the definition of Proverbs 31. Plus you are so hot (had to keep it real!). I treasure your touch darlin.

The past 17 valentines have been amazing and I can’t wait for the next 40. We get so sentimental when Alan Jackson’s song, “Remember When” comes on the radio, but then we know the entire song of “Baby Got Back” and make the pedestrians laugh while we rap at the the red light. That’s part of the reason why we are special! I love you and I appreciate you!

You are Proverbs 31.

Hold on Son!
